Data deletion
In effect from August 2026
You can ask us to delete your data at any time: your contact details, addresses, order history and your conversation with the consultant, including a conversation on Instagram. Here is how to ask and what happens next.
1. What we hold
Your name, phone number, delivery addresses with their notes, the contents and history of your orders, the language you write in, your messenger account identifier and your conversation with the consultant. We hold no card details: payment goes through a payment provider link outside this site.
2. How to ask for deletion
Any of three ways: write "delete my data" in the same Instagram chat you talked to us in; email privacy@sushi.family; or call your branch on the number listed on the Delivery page.
So we can find your records, give the name and phone number you ordered under, or the account you wrote from. We ask for no documents.
3. What we delete, and when
We acknowledge the request within 3 working days and delete within 30 days. We delete your contact details, saved addresses, the link to your messenger account and the whole conversation with the consultant. After that the consultant no longer recognises you: the next conversation starts from scratch.
4. What stays, and why
Records of completed orders are anonymised rather than erased: the amounts and contents are needed for the accounting and reporting Georgian law requires. An anonymised record carries no name, no phone number and no address. Technical backups are overwritten within 14 days.
5. Data from Instagram
If you wrote to us in Instagram Direct we keep your account identifier and the conversation in order to take the order. On request we delete both. Revoking the app in your Instagram settings stops new messages reaching us, but messages already received are deleted only when you ask.
6. Questions
privacy@sushi.family. We reply in the language you wrote in.
